When You Start Seeing Good Results!!!
By Steve Clenor, BA, MSMS
Success is fleeting, yet failure can be everlasting. In the rare moments where and when you see progress from all your hard work, take a moment to appreciate how far you've come. Yet, understand that this is a marathon, ultimately there will be some failures along the way, fortunately, you'll just need to win the race. It really does not matter how the other racers around you are doing, you just need to be the first one to cross that line. Anyone whom follow my blogs know that I discuss preventing measures for failure religiously. Well, in this blog, it's more of the same. If you're at the point in your journey or road to success and you're finally starting to see good results and progress, this is the time for you to go even harder than before. Your commitment, discipline, effort, belief, and grind needs to be put on "drive", not "neutral". This is the moment when you know you're doing the right thing and all your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Realizing this should give you a boost of confidence and energy to push the peddle to the medal. It is definitely not times to rest on your laurels as you have not made it yet, it's just an acknowledgement that there may be success in your future.
When you start seeing good results at times for those whom need the boost in confidence, is when you start believing that what you're seeking to accomplish is worth it. You find it easier to wake up every day and grind knowing that the next day can bring that same feeling as you've experienced before. It will be easier to let go of those around you whom cannot see your efforts and bring nothing positive towards the outcome of your success. It will also be harder for you to stay around people whom does not share the same level of motivation as you. My advice to you is, don't feel guilty when those thought processes start to creep in as the right move is to keep progressing and you must at all cost eliminate anything that stands in the way of you achieving your goals. When one takes control of his or her life and decide to let go of the things that are affecting them negatively, they start a new journey towards something great because they are now in control of their own destiny. This all sounds good and easy, I know, but we all know things will not go this smoothly. The feeling of accomplishment that you are feeling today may become a feeling of failure and frustration tomorrow, but stick to your guns and fight. Life is all a summation of your successes and failures, when you break it down, that's whom you've become, the result of your life experiences. For some life experiences and disappointments have defeated their morality, so their goals and dreams have come and gone. Don't let that be you by giving up on yourself before you win the fight, one punch at a time, one round at a time!!!
